I don't have much other'n me. I have a 250w halogen worklight and extension cords. I have a laptop, and I have enough flash for myself.....sort of.....I have an SB400 and the on camera flash.
I can bring this unbrella.....
Actually, that one, and this one, live in my trunk.....
I did order my Alien Bee Ringflash so I should have that with me there too and the kit to hardwire my lights so I can disable the slaves so I won't go blind with all the flashing.

I think that's a great idea. Please have them register for DPC, since it a sort of a DPC group thing, and reply to this post saying if they are going.

Absolutely! As Tony said, ask them to register here on DPC and post in the thread, just so we can keep up the group spirit. But as far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier!
I am planning to go, so long as there's no giant blizzard or anything. I'll toss in my AlienBees, backdrop stand, a backdrop or two, softbox, umbrella, blah blah blah.

I'm a friend of Robm001, and a new DPC member. I've been shooting available light photography for over 10 years and relatively new to off-camera flash/set lighting rigs. I'll bring up the couple of Speedlights I own (430 exII and Sigma 530DG SuperII) along with a pair of stands and any diffusers I might have. I'll buy/bring other gear as well, if any is needed to complete one of the rigs(or supplement).

I would think that $74 is quite pricey for a Ramada in the Poconos.
Did you get the room with a pushbutton phone and a color TV? That might explain it.

Bring your enthusiasm and come ready to rock :-) If you have a few sample photos of lighting that you like, bring them along too - that way we can all compare and find some starting points.
I was really looking forward to attending this workshop, some unfortunate turn of events this afternoon I will not be able to to attend it!
I am really sorry for canceling at the last minute. I am still willing to chip in my share for the workshop as I can understand cancellations like these for a community event during last minute can add up cost for others attending!
I actually thought the turnout would be better than what it is. I even tried to recruit a few people and they weren't interested. I mean, what could be better than have 10+ people with the same interests getting together to develop some skills.
Does any of the attending, know some people we can recruit?
