What a great day we had!!!! We met Rosemary and Bob (hubby) at the entrance and the kids fell in love with both of them!
The weather was cold for PHX, so the animals where super hyper, we did tend to see a lot of butts though as the sun was rising in the other direction, but got some amazing back lit shots.
The tiger tried to climb a tree and the lion and lioness had a marital spat in front of us. The monkeys where picking poop off each other and having a great time with that.
It was amazing to see most of the animals collecting twigs and sticks to make themselves a warm place to bed down in
There wasn't as many little monkeys out, as there was the last time, I think we all spotted about 4, which is surprising as we where actually IN the cage with them.
Snarfed down a picnic and saw some elephants butts being fed. Then it was time to say goodbye.
Charlie and James actually attached themselves to Bob's leg and wouldn't let go, so the poor man was walking with them on his legs (I knew we should have left them in the monkey cage!)
All in all, it was a fabulous time, Rosemary and Bob have the same kind of wicked sense of humour as me and we laughed all the way around!!!
