A local blog which links to other local blogs and picks "blogs of the week" is having it's first ever Newfoundland blog awards. My photo blog, //bitstop-nfld.blogspot.com/ is in the running and I'd love to get your vote. I asked the site admin about campaigning and he strongly encourages campaigning for votes so here I am! Here is the link, the poll is on the right hand side. My blog is #2, Bitstop. You don't need to register or anything, just click on the blog and then click on vote at the bottom of the poll.
You can also leave a comment on the post (click on the grey area just under "Vote Now"). If you leave a comment saying you are voting for Bitstop that will get counted as 2 votes whereas the poll vote counts as 1 vote. It's to encourage comments on why you are voting for a particular blog. But you don't have to do that, just clicking in the poll would be enough. (comments under the poll don't count, just those on the post itself).
