Yeah, some are already popping up on Craigslist. A lot of folks I know got hit with what they refer to as "the hammer" and are all bummin about it. Apparently there is a way to find out if you have been flagged (but not banned yet) and if so, you can apparently just chill out on playing burns, and play legit games online, and you can get the flag removed, but that sounds suspet to me.
I dodged a bullet, as I have been trying to get my xbox to a guy in philly to mod it for me, but just havne't had the time. He got banned 2 days ago and all but 3 of the people that I know he modded have gotten the ban as well this week.
Where did the last hour and a half go1? Oh I know...multiplayer. Dammit. Is it sad that at 26, I'm ok with spending my friday night indoors playing video games alone?
It's a shame the PC version is stripped down to reflect the console versions. I was planning on picking this up, but after I saw the PC reviews and all the things they changed from MW1 I'll have to wait for a Battlefield title.

Yeah, me too. LOL I was going to get the new version but with no dedicated servers, I'm gonna see if sales pressure might get them to issue a patch. But I doubt that will happen. I belong to an online group with a dedicated server for MW1 and a couple of other titles. Out of about 300 members 20 or 30 have lapsed (LOL) and bought the sucker anyway. They all like it but say game play on IWNet listen servers is quite different. Not bad just different. The also indicate the single player story is quite well done. So if you're an addict you won't be disappoined. I won't buy it without a patch as my only draw to FPS gaming is the online interaction with other humans. Always a challenge, always someone better than yourself.
Been away for a few days, just arrived back. My son bought this yesterday and gave me a quick 'briefing', holy moly! Going to be a big leap with multiplay compared to my Battlefield Bad Company! To be honest I am pretty cr*p at online games but I do enjoy them !

I loved the game but does anyone else feel a little dirty after the Russian Airport mission? I think after I played it I questioned why something like that would be in the game... then I remembered about Xbox live and how it's plugged online. Does all this make anyone else besides me a little nervous?
Umm just you. I don't see why it would matter that xbox live being connected has to do with it.
And to be honest, I think it was put in to "shock" you, because games constantly have these kind of things happening in the story line behind the scene, and it takes the punch out of it, but when you are walking through the piles of bodies, seeing people dragging themselves across the room, then I think it changes the impact.
Ultimately, it had to be there, as its the whole catalyst for the game. Whats funny is that you don't have to pull the trigger on any civillians (only the cops) but I bet more often then not, everyone is gunning down everything.
