My neighbor, whom never used a computer until I loaned her a laptop, is now an update freak. She's been asking me if she should go to IE 8. The laptop still has XP on it. Anyone here use that combination and does it create any problems?
IE works fine.
I've been using it on XP as well as Vista for the past seven months and haven't had any issues with it whatsoever.

me too, Chrome has by far the most useful user interface. when I have to do something with IE (eg. browse to Firefox and Chrome download pages after a fresh install of windows), i feel like trying to walk blindfolded with crutches.

:) probably you wanted to write: "I especially loled at...", because every statement in that table is a shameless lie. For example under Compatibility they forgot to write that now they are not compatible anymore even with themselves (IE6 optimized pages are now not showing properly). And Ease of Use, lol, describing it with words I can't figure out what they mean... thanks a lot for that kind of ease.

An emerging standard is useless. Full support for an existing standard is useful.
