so be it! then don't call it something relating to a cinema challenge. maybe a "cinema PROOF challenge".
No disrespect mean to the AMAZINGLY talented, incredibly beautiful, extremely smart, and exeedinly humble artist who did the wine shot... but the lobster shot actually interacts with the torn part and doesn't at all make the viewer think that the paper is anything other than paper. So, I think it would pass.
I'm shocked that there are only 50 entries so far.
I'm wondering if people will take a photo and describe the PHOTO with a DPC word association and not make it a poster for an actual move with that photo as a representative. No matter what you do, you can't please everybody. I'm totally loving mine and think it is PERFECT for a movie poster. :~) Good luck to everyone who entered.
Mine's just a photo... I didn't know how to create a poster without words and without adding things.
Now I'm really confused... All but one of the top thirty in the last dpc cinema challenge were just pictures....
or are you saying coming up with a title like deep purple columbine and a picture of a flower isn't a movie as opposed to daring, provocative co-eds? Although I'd rather see the deep purple columbine... :P
Sometimes I suspect that SC is just laughing at us. Like Jutilda I think mine is a perfect photo for a movie, a B-movie destined to go straight to DVD, poster & all, & wind up in the $5 bin at Wally-World.
