I just started voting on this challenge and looked at my stats after about 6 votes. Apparently I gave out a bunch of 10's early on. Either someone else was logged into my account or I was accidentally clicking the 10 button instead of the >> arrow when previewing the entries right after rollover. It appears I may have been the "anti-troll" mentioned earlier in the thread. Sorry.
I will be revising those votes and just wanted to make sure people know when they see the noticeable drop in their scores that this is not a case of a "tactical voting".

I noticed that I started giving out 10s a while back by accident.
On a mac if you use cmd + to zoom on the image and then use cmd 0 to reset the size it issues a vote of 10 and moved to the next image arrgh

I think 20 good photos in a challenge is a lot! :D
My average scoring shot shot aside (and currently being validated - WTF!) I didn't see 20 images that stood out, maybe half a dozen that met my missed focus criteria and could meet the 'compelling' part of the challenge. If I'm honest there is some shite very under par work to be voted on

That's so funny! I actually did that once. I drank heavily one night & then went online to do my voting for a challenge (believe it or not I can't remember which challenge). I was in love with nearly every picture I saw. My creativity clearly comes out when I drink because I had a lot of great things to say that challenge. I kept calling my husband over... "Hey, you just HAVE to come see this one!". I was driving him crazy.
Hmmm, I just popped open a Miller Lite; maybe I'll slam down a few more and then finish up "missed focus". Wonder if my perspective will be completely screwed up because everything will be out of focus anyway. >;o)
I had a good little buzz when I took my shot so maybe we'll meet in that zone. All I ask is that people actually look at the images before they vote...
Comment #3 comes in and it is in conflict with comment #1 on a certain aspect of the image. I really enjoy getting conflicting comments. (Yes, I know I am a little odd.)
