I had develop my own tech to calibrate. I have 2 profiles. Camera and Print. The camera is the profile that comes with my Nikon. Adjusted to my monitor conditions. To calibrate I setup the camera on tripod side by side with monitor, put one photo in the display and the same photo in computer screen (Adobe Gamma don´t uses full screen, then I´m able to see part of the image), and calibrate based on Nikon´s profile until I get the same llok as I get in the cameras LCD monitor. Results are great. I´m really don´t see noticeable diferences when saw the image at PC.
The print prfile was done sending, straight out from camera to a print store that I choose to work. I made the print and ask for the ICC profile of the printer (Fuji). They give me th profile then I use it as base profile for Adobe Gamma. Print results are clearly diferent from PC and Camera´s monitor results. Then a put the print side by side with my PC monitor and repeat the process using the color profile of Fuji as base profile. Now, when I go to print, I load the Print Profile and adjust colors to my taste to be more natural. The results are incredible. I can really get what I saw. |
