Boise was Scalvert's idea. How about Walla Walla or Puyallup?
Walla Walla - sweet!
Puyallup - I'd burn it at a gallop!
89.2% of thread viewers have no idea what a "Walla Walla Sweet" is. And the reference to Puyallup is lost on 99.24% of our viewers. If that weren't enough, 42.6% of all statistics are made up ... on the spot.
I'd travel 1 minute into the past, push my startled other self out of the way and destroy the time machine just before my future self is suppose to enter it. I then take a self portrait after the minute is up and enter that in the Never Seen on DPC challenge.

Fool. I've never seen a photo of a time machine on DPC. :P

Oh it's still in the picture but broken. Hmm or maybe it's fixed? Come to think of it would I be taking a self portrait or a selves portrait? Note to future self: take a wider angle lens.

I have been to both Walla Walla and Puyallup, and even, for that matter, Pocatello and Boise. Boise has a Chart House shaped like the Millenium Falcon; or used to, anyway. I know, I had to shoot it. Walla Walla Sweets are wonderful onions...
I'd love to travel back in time and be on the grassy knoll in Dallas and shoot a view of the Kennedy motorcade at the moment of impact, with the putative mystery gunman in the frame, or not, as the case may be, to lay that one to rest forevermore.

Yes, but if you destroy the time machine, that means we'd end up with TWO of you...::gasp of fright::

you'd shoot at the motorcade?! It was you on the grassy knoll!

After which you're whisked away in an unmarked car never to be hear from again. Better take a friend to photograph that event. :P
I'd travel to one second before the Big Bang and take a picture of "God".
Upon your return you find out that people now worship a God called "Spazmo" who gave birth to the heavens with one burst of his strobe. Nikon is now considered an instrument of the devil.
