I just wanted to say that I really appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and all of the effort that everyone has put into this challenge. I of course also appreciate the time people have spent commenting, and I would like you to know that I really appreciate the support as well as the suggstions, I really feel that side challenges such as these are one of the best aspects of DPC!

Hi Sidies (sidy is someone participating in a side - ha!). I've been nuts busy, hardly lifting the camera to my face. However, I took some photos at one of our openings on Wednesday. And it's in the city where I live - so before I don't post for another week - here we go:

October brings the week-long International Balloon Fiesta, and yes, the people and balloons come from all over the world. Albuquerque is a great place to be in that week.
Here three balloons are heading for the golf course (in the previous IR shot) across Academy St. You can see the extinct volcanoes in the west.
