BA in Computer Engineering .. When you have the mind for computers and details .. you have it for everything else .. specially photography. Too bad I didn't take Business Administration as a minor so I'd learn how to finance my photography :)
Learned photography from a boyfriend in high school while he was taking courses in it. Took some art classes in drawing and painting during high school and college. Took a photography class back in 2002 just because. Read a lot of magazines.
The name of my degree is ridiculously long: BA in International Communications with a focus in News Production and an emphasis in Digital Photography; minor in Italian.
Currently going for an MA in photography.
Wrote my thesis on the sex life of the dung beetle. The current financial crisis is such that I could not find a job in my field of studies and now drive a taxi.
Ha! What am I doing here? Well, just because I have a degree doesnt mean that I dont need a source of inspiration for my creativity! Besides what else am I going to do with my time besides spending it with all of you lovely people :)!
BA in English with a minor in Classical Studies. Looked at a LOT of Greek and Roman art and architecture for my minor. Then I somehow ended up getting a diploma in Computer Systems Technology where I learned things that aren't so artsy fartsy. (Techy wecky?)
I have a BFA. I finished because it is hard to be tragically hip and pretentious in Muncie, Indiana.

I left Brown University (where I was an English major, a poet specifically) in 1966 to enroll in the New York Studio School, where I studied painting with some contemporary masters of the time. Was an interesting experience. Subsequently I discovered the camera and went to work as a lab rat for a photo studio, and eventually ended up with my own studio and a teaching gig at UCSD.
BA in Communication. (Not Mass Comm; the sociology stuff.) Stuck in the business world the last 20 something years. Trying to find myself again. DPC is helping.
I have a BS in Industrial Technology and an associates in Supervision, but my wife took 4 years of art in college and is really phenominal with pencil drawings. I've learned a lot about art from her. She is always teaching me new things about color's, composition, and just tons of other things. I was surprised how many elements really can apply to many "arts" across the board including photography. We have kind of a partnership now. I take the photo and she draws the ones she likes (when she can find the time). Really cool idea having the photo and the drawing when trying to sell your work I think.
