I'll cry! ;) Just kidding, I know what you mean! I'm in three side challenges this month (what was I thinking?). I think I've given out about 100 comments in the last day or so. My fingers hurt and I need a thesaurus!
You can go to the textures library at DPC. When you are working on an image, just do Ctrl T and then it will stretch. I have no pixel issues when I do that either. So it doesn't really matter the size of the overlay. I have a bunch too if you want me to send them via email. PM me.

If you find any of mine you like I'd be happy to send you a larger version. Also, one of my favorite sources, playingwithbrushes, usually posts pretty large files on her Flickr site (be sure to go through all the pages from the link above and into her Artistic Life gallery).
