I just started hanging around DPC and was hoping there was a May side challenge brewing. I'd love to do flowers. Most of our wildflowers will be dying out during May but there'll still be enough in gardens to make do. :)
(Doing another side challenge as well so I might not post EVERY day.)
Sign me up ... haven't done a side challenge in a while, and the wildflowers are still blooming so maybe this will get me motivated to get out before they disappear.

Do the same rules apply, only photos taken after the announcement (in this case May 1)? Or can we use any photo taken at any time?

Ahh, never mind on the last question... I just found the "Insert image" button. hee hee.
I have no idea what the name of the flower is...not even sure what species...or family it comes from. Got home from work and while walking through my momma's backyard I said "Hmmmm...interesing."
AND I Grabbed my NIKON QUICK!! lol.
EXIF: Don't have the original NEF just a jpeg so not sure of anything except the
fact that I took it with a 50mm lens, a wide aperature of approx 4 and high ISO;
forgot to bring it down some, hence the grain....blast. Nevertheless, I still like it.
