The weather forecast now says 40% chance of precipitation (down from 60% last night). At this rate I am thinking its worth a shot. I will be at the front gate at 9 am, hope to see as many of you as possible!
Sounds good to me...it's still on, 9a at the Phoenix Zoo in the front. If it is really bad we could decide later if we want to go to the hall of flame. Can't wait to meet everyone!!
Would love to go - I love the Phoenix Zoo and would look forward to meeting all of you; however, we will not be there until the 28th. bummer. However, looks like the boy is staying in Phoenix for awhile after graduation, so maybe there will be another chance. Will look for gtgs in AZ, NM, or CO. Have fun everyone!!
Sorry you won't be able to make this GTG. Hopefully we can schedule something. I live in CO near Colorado Springs, but have been in AZ for a couple of months helping my mom after her back fusion surgery. I'll keep listing GTG in both places in hopes of meeting even more DPC people. One of these days our paths will cross.
Dave and I will still be there, mostly, I have run ourselves ragged this last week with so many things, we are running off those 5 hour energy drinks, we are drinking about 3 a day just to get through the day.
He is so sore and ready to go home and relax, I think that he needs a vacation just to recover from this one.
Even though I won't be there I do hope that the sun shines all day and that all of you will have a great time together at the zoo and PLEASE remember don't feed the animals, unless it's Dave PLEASE feed him :)

Just a suggestion: for our bay area GTG, we created a flickr group, invitation only. Everyone just uploaded whatever up there. DPC accounts may be too small for all your grand pics:-)

It was very nice to meet everyone, wish I had spent more time with all of you. I was distracted by a changing of my lens, and when I looked up everyone was gone. Chris and I tried to catch up with you, but despite wandering around the zoo for several hours, we never did find any of you.
We went on to enjoy our outing, but somehow I feel a little let down. I need to learn how to change my lens faster I guess.

No I do not think anyone ditched me. I am sorry if I gave that impression. Somehow we got split up and I feel sad that I did not get to spend more time with these great people. I am definitely not blaming anyone. Its probably all my own fault.

I am so sorry. We kept looking for you. We thought we lost you in the bear exhibit, I even sent Chris C4pictures back there to wait for you guys to come out of there. He never did see you again. I was really bummed and felt that it was my fault. I was going to call, but I didn't have your cell phone number, only some of the other DPCer's numbers. We will definitely have to schedule another zoo visit with you guys on my next trip out. I really enjoyed meeting you and would have loved to have spent more time with you guys. Again, I am so sorry.

Next time I will make sure to get phone numbers before we get started so that we can contact one another if we get lost. Maybe I will get some Mini Moo Cards made up to hand out at GTG so everyone has my information. Like trading cards for collecting at DPC GTG's.

Hi everyone, Im finally back at home and missing all the wonderful people I met already, Ill post pics some time this week (hopefully) lol And BAMartin Im so sorry we lost you's even I was trying to look for yous after I found my way out of that Columbia path, it was wonderful meeting you and your husband regardless. And of course I can say enough about JulietNN, She was/is the ultimate guide even though I dont think Ive ever been this exhausted but it was all well worth it :)

I like this idea. What about you guys? On Flickr we can either do a Public Group~Invitation Only, or a completely Private Group. They are your pics so tell me which one you would like.

Great pics Andy. I love the baby ducks. We didn't even come close to a good capture of them. Nicely done!
