No, it's not that we don't care about other parts of the world, but I think this is where we all come to share our commonalities - and sometimes our differences - but not a place where we generally come to annoy or be annoyed by others who don't share our political or other worldviews. Frankly, I don't really want to know the political persuasion of this group as a whole - it might tend to make me think less of their work. Just human nature. IMHO.
On BB I downloaded the big file (still took an age!) and incidently checked out some of the other links ~ very amusing.
Ref the big Bush movie - it does need the codec you linked to but cautious as I am I did a Google on that codec before getting it & I do not think I will bother.
It is from a Russian site (NB I use some Russian origin shareware and it is very good ~ though having stated that the progs I use are old now and there are more suspect softwares from Russia than there were).

You have to behave like a top class athlete (so to speak) and know just what you are feeding your PC.
As you you might appreciate from any of my posts in relation to software and downloads I treat my PC with a bit of respect as what I install and certainly what hyperlinks I click on!
On a more photographically pertinent note I dislike any online processor service that insists that you install their software to use the service "it will help you upload your pictures....". I have found //www.icdphotos.com here in the UK good in that they seemed to be one of the very few that did not require such an action on my part & and their prints are top notch.
