I wasn't expecting this image to be a high scorer because of one easy-to-spot technical flaw and a few processing choices that were not of the "wow" variety. It's a perfect capture of this particular pet's personality, though, so I'm still happy with it.
Looking forward to some voting and commenting later today; should be a fun one to vote on.
Looking at my score I think of a scene between G'kar and Garibaldi in Babylon 5

The score IS going up but until I get some commentary about flaws it is far below where it *could* be or rather where I thought it would be. Hmmm, tis a study in human nature...but then every challenge is because art is subjective;-);-);-)

just got out from voting. I say about 85% of them are not above a 5. No offense to anyone out there. But this challenge has some really bad quality shots. However there are a few that are really nice. I do admit taking photos of pets is not an easy task. Takes lots of patience from the photographer and the pet.

Agreed, it absolutely requires alot of patience:-) Back to voting and enjoying.
I don't think this one has settled down yet at all. I have risen almost .5 in the last 25 votes. I think we are going to see extremes this time around.
ETA: After I posted this, went back to update I dropped .02 I just think this one is going to jump for a bit.

Well this is a fine welcome back score....I took some time off from DPC, come back all excited and charged up, and my score is tanking just like the scores I was receiving months ago! Oh well....still happy to be back!!
