It's funny but since it's not my strength I would have never thought to enter something like that of my own. Hmmmm...

My info page says I have 5 Upload slots, Free slots -1. Not sure what that means.

Trust me, that's not my strength either. :-) I submitted two this week - that one and the one that got rejected I posted earlier. If I'd been a betting woman, I would have guessed both would be rejected, but the one with the better chance was the tourist shot. Shows what I know!
I think if you buy a membership you get more upload slots, too. But even if you have more upload slots, you can only use them once in a week's time. That includes if you get published as well. So if you have three slots a week, you submit three, two get rejected, one gets published, you have 0 slots remaining for the week. It's probably a good way to keep the stream of inputs to a manageable level.
