I noticed your post and had to chime in. I am from Northern Indiana, too, and recently tried to take a picture of some Amish near where I live. I knew they didn't like having their picture taken but I was trying to be sneaky. When I did it, a bystander scolded me and said I was being insensitive and I guess I was (I was shooting their faces not their backs). Darn, they make such interesting subjects.
Anyway, I didn't vote in this challenge but I would have given you a 6. I think the way you interpreted the challenge was fine. It's hard to understand why a decent photo gets a 1 or 2 but it happens to all of us. |
