Went to bed an even 5.0 and was surprised that at 5:10 it was up to a 5.2222. Then at 6:10 it was a paltry 5.0909 and then thank you for the 2! Dropped me into the 4.9 range again.

I am sure this is a stupid question - but how do you know what score affects your average; i.e., 5.0909 to a 4.9 range means a 2 score? Thanks! Erin

Math. If your vote count changes by one, you can figure out from the new average what that vote was (assuming someone else didn't also change their existing vote).

What?? Math? I don't know no stinkin math! Actually I should have clarified what I meant was there a secret way to unlock to view your scores... because you can't know if someone gave you a 2 or someone else changed or two people gave you a 1 and a 3 etc etc etc.... blah blah blah :-) But now that I know it's math plus interpretation I won't begin to calculate because for me X+Y/Z=4.545

You can't quit your day job - that is what enables you to buy the equipment to capture great photos. It's all a means to an end.... one day I hope to sell some actual photos so that I can continue to fund my habit, I mean hobby. Whatever :-)
I just thought up a theory for some of the lower scores. The voters may be "normal". I think to enjoy "twisted" photos, you may need to be "twisted" yourself. It's just a theory. My photo currently is scoring a 4.7. That's the normal way of looking at it. Those of us who are twisted will see that my score is 7.4.
The previous poster rinac is enjoying a score of 5.3 not 3.5.
