Okay...figure this out. I wanted to shoot for Straight...but this idea kept popping into my head...so I ended up shooting it. But the problem was....it was twisted...so I went to submit it to twisted...only to read the challenge about and realised I couldn't enter it in there. I then read the Straight About and realised it was a perfect match for that challenge. So go figure...how do you shoot for straight and end up with a twisted image that is perfect for a straight challenge...(scratching my head on this one)!!!!!
I'm in for straight, but I really don't like it, and I'm sure to get DNMCed. Lets see if I can find something else to shoot and edit in the next 50 minutes. *gulp*

No shame... it's a good photo that just didn't do well in the challenge. At least you took a photo and submitted something... something you might never have considered photographing and submitting before. That's what DPC is about, and DPCO seems to force you to do.
Be proud that you're part of the team... and if you're team doesn't require you contribution on occasion, then so be it...
[That's the way I like to look at it... helps me sleep at night, otherwise I'd be up thinking about why the hell I keep scoring sub 5.0s]
No shame at all Lonni, you've done more than enough to earn your keep on previous challenges.
Personally I think you were a little hard done by as far as your score goes.
Thanks guys. I'm sitting on a 6 in the feast challenge, so I think I used up all my credits on that one. Hopefully my twisted will pick up over the week.

Lonni, we all have bad weeks, no shame in that. Its a team game, some week we play better than others, thats why we have 8 members!
I'm just thankful we are not counting the Free Study or Superpowers, mine are both well below 5 :( Twisted is starting well though so I might make it of the bench :)
Thanks you guys for the encouragement. I'm feeling more positive this week, and I'm in for fill flash. I had one idea that I just didn't get around to organising, but something else cropped up, and I don't think it'll do too badly - I predict it's a 5.75.
I imagine that there is going to be a bunch of top quality portraiture in fill flash, but hopefully the number of submissions won't climb too much between now and tomorrow :)
