For sure, that's an explanation. Most voters won't take the time to solve your puzzle, so if your picture is not aesthetic in an abstract kind of way, it will score low. I had this revelelation several times: I did not specially like a shot, but when I finally recognized what it was, I loved it!

Considering your 4.16 average vote cast you should be very happy with a 5.06. (meaning that if you think the average shot here at dpc is a 4.16, then a 5.06 would be a very, very nice photo)
To each there own on what they think is good or touches them or intrigues them...I give plenty of high scores, but as I have found on here, we all have a very different points of view on what is good, some vote on Talent some on Skill. But thank you for taking the time to point it out that my average scoring is so low compared to everyone else. I guess this just seemed like a slam... but thanks a million...lol ALL THOUGHTS WELCOME.

I am seeing some awesome work in this challenge with a lot of people really shooting for the 'puzzle' aspect. There are some really amazing images that are not as abstract as well. Keep voting and commenting. I'd like to have more comments. My image isn't a pretty one, it's one that won't be guessed! :D
