So there's no shortage of charts on the site, if the contest were to end right now which chart shows which team has won? Leader Board?
Yes the leader board which displays the current about of "points". The reason we have the others are because in the past people wanted to know how well each team was doing. So the first set of numbers is the weekly winners. That displays where the teams were ranked and which team gained that number of points. The avg you see next to the team name is what that team averaged for that week.
Then you see the leader board which displays the current number of points and the team ranks.
Last you see Avg Leaders which is the teams OVERALL average for the entire season. This number doesn't really mean anything but which team has a better average.
I have a quick question -- Why are not the '0' scores figured into the overall average of each individual? For instance, if you score a 7 the first week and then never submit anything for the rest of the tourney, your ending average is 7. Shouldn't each week count towards the overall personal average? Your MVP race only really has two true contenders listed, AP and Brin. Both have entered each and every week. The others have missed one or more weeks.
An "MVP Race" should be similar to baseball. If Albert Pujols gets 37 hits in only 100 at-bats(.370 avg) and then decides to not play the rest of the year or gets injured, he would never qualify to be an MVP candidate. I think a similar standard should be adhered to in this as well. Everybody signed up knowing they needed to submit at least one shot a week.

I missed it. :O( It is OK. I have been having fun playing and am pleased with the scores I have been recieving. I do agree that those who have participated in all the challenges should be rewarded. Those who have missed, the zero should count.
Yeah, I think dropping the two lowest scores would work out well. In many Olympic events, they take away the highest and the lowest score. I think with what we've been seeing lately though, the scoring has been trending downward at a significant clip since the DPCO began. Everyone has an off week or two. This method would be fair to all teams as well.

A zero means you did not get around to entering and thus did not support your team. A score in the 3's or 4's means you at least tried to support your team. Erasing the two lowest scores would be giving a greater break to someone who did not support their team than to someone who did support their team, which does not seem right.
An MVP is an MVP. MVPs are there to support the team. It's totally fair to calculate the missed week's zeros in to the average.
njsabs2323 will likely still come up on the top or dang near it. Man, what a great run she's had!
Timfythetoo is on the MVP list and has missed several challenges, as has Hauxon. I am totally with the idea that zeros should be averaged in as well. No drops of any scores. an MVP is an MVP and should be calculated and rewarded as such IMO.

Just one question. How exactly are the mvp race scores calculated? if I look at the avg column in the full results sheet it shows a different number.
The scores next to the name for the overall average do not calculate 0's where as the MVP race counts all the scores except for your two lowest scoring entries. Only the top 5 are shown but I have everyone's MVP average. I noticed that your not playing, why?
