Well since I'm in a good mood..........and things are going smoothly so far.........if the last 4 that have spoke up want to join, I'll add a bit to the punishment and if you agree you can join.

You can comment as much as you like, in fact its recommended, what I put up is only the minimum. What I would really like to see rather then just comments are small honest critiques. But each person needs to make their own mind of what they are comfortable doing and what they want to get out of the challenge. As far as images, if you want to post multiples of a shoot, that would be OK. But I'd prefer not to crowd the post with a ton of images. There are almost 40 participants, thats 400 images if everyone meets their requirements, adding alot more will just make it harder for everyone to keep up and for everyones images to get comments.
I can't believe we're already into day 3 and there is no feather-waterdrop picture yet.
Sorry guys but I missed one. I won't count it against my minimum 10 pics, ok?

I'm jumping in now with my first one. Hi everyone! It's good to be in another S C with familiar DPC friends, and to see that so many DPC'ers are here in this S C.
I got up early this morning, went to the park while it was chilly and calm. I came home with alot of shots I like, had trouble picking a favorite to post. I could likely end my 10 images today but I wont.

Now you have to tell us how you got all the bugs to pose for you so you could take detailsed and sharp shots. The clarity is unbelievable.

Back to comment after I do a few honey-do's
The clue to how I got them to hold still is in my post. I highly recommend that you take a trip to a local stream, river or lake early in the morning. The amazing thing about cool mornings is the bugs are sleeping. The flys, dragonflys, and other bugs didnt move the whole time I was shooting them. You will notice the one who has dew all over him is resting in the nook of the plant he is on. He truly is asleep. The spider was on a leaf I found on the ground and moved her to a little better lighting while not disturbing her. Next time I'll take a tripod so I can get better shots. I feel movement in my handheld or monopod shots really hurt my clarity.
