No complaints... Thrilled that this shot is doing as well as it is. I figured it to be too unconventional to score well - but what the h*** do I know. I liked it so was happy. I'm even more pleased that the voters seem to appreciate it as well.
S l o w voting for day one, I usually post my 50 vote check-in when I get home from work but doubt I'll see 50 votes until the morning :( Currently my #4 image but tis (very)early days

I hear ya. it is not often you get to poke your head up above the clouds and look around. You think, wow this is cool. Then all these other heads start popping up as well, like groundhogs out of a fresh green field and you realize that your special image is just one of many special images in the challenge.
The idea is to keep in mind that your image is still special to you. :)

Just got the obligory 2 vote and plummented out of my top ten dropping 0.13 :(

I hate when that happens. Especially when you have an image that even without bias you know is at least a 6. So you know the person giving you that 1 or a 2 is either voting it down for the sake of voting down images, or has a personal hatred towards something in your image.

Totally agree and a year ago I'd have been jumping up and down f'ing and blinding all over the place. Today? I just smile and feel sorry for the poor misguided, unwashed, unloved, uneducated, sad, lonely voter that to be quite honest doesn't deserve my upset and anger ;) That is unless they had the gonads to give me a valid reason for such a score lol.
Love listening to all the 6+ people talking about their low scores!
oh god, mine has dropped like a stone to a kinky 6.28 6.17. i am sooo disappointed and depressed now i can't even think about going to bed without having some really fucked up nightmares...
