I'm currently sitting at a 4.0. I've never self-DQ'd before, but this score is so much worse than I thought it would be, so I'm rather tempted to pull it since it'll make my personal score and the team score go down.
After looking at the score thread, it appears that many people are getting a new personal worst in the "Color in BnW" challenge. If it keeps going like that, maybe 3.9 will be a halfway decent score after all! : )

at the moment in Color in B&W...comments are along the lines of "nice idea, poor execution" now. I got a 9 from one commenter, though!

I know that your score isn't as high as what you'd like, but the team does get 1 point every week for each team members entry. njsabs2323 wasn't able to enter this week because of the situation that she told us about over on our flickr account. Hopefully you'll hang in here for the week and not get to discouraged, we've all had our share of low scores so just use it as a learning curve. FWIW, my entry in the bummer challenge isn't doing that well either!

I think that B&W in color is gonna be a low-scoring challenge anyways, the score thread doesn't show too many above 6, besides violinist123 and I think he might have been lying, b/c he said 7.69-something, and 8 favorites. lol.

all is good, we just need to get as many points as we can. it's going to be a long season. I agree Jenn shot would hasd done well in the color/b&w challenge. Did you see next weeks challenge, Jenn is a awesome portrait photog. (no pressure Jenn..Lol)....I'm still dropping, hanging around my average.
I'm actually quite pleased. While my score isn't high, it is above my average. This on a photo shot with a P&S vs. my others that were mostly shot with a dSLR. Go figure!
