Please help. I've tried mpix and it didn't do anything for me. I need a good quaility canvas printed but I'm not sure where else to try without just sending prints to every where which could get expensive. If you've tried a place and it looked pro to you please let me know.
Beautiful work! They peel off the emulsion layer making it thinner and paste it onto the canvas which makes the canvas texture really come through. Also, if you sign up for a professional account, your first order is 1/2 price! (check the site to be sure)
I too would like to know what you didn't like about the mpix one. I have had several people use them and have heard nothing but good things about them. What didn't you like about it?
I have heard repeatedly from many pros that Mpix canvas sucks. I use Mpix otherwise and am very happy. But not canvas...
However, the best that I have heard of for canvas is WHCC. They are sweet and very professional. Disclaimer though: I have not ordered one myself, but have done a ton of research...
other than the canvas i love mpix. great service and woderful paper but the canvas looks so cheap and dull, no texture, and ironed on. Not pro at all. I do about 8-10 photo shoots a month and when you start charging big money for canvas prints you better have a good quailty print or find another line of work. I do this part time and I have started selling landscape prints but I want to do them on canvas. So I need the best quality i can get. I'm going to try the ones list here but just didn't want to throw money away.
I've also heard great things about whcc and I think that may be where I send my next canvas print

Does anybody in the UK have a recommendation for Canvas Prints? I would like to do one for a family member who lives over there. It makes more sense to get it printed locally than to do it in the US and ship it.

Does anybody in the UK have a recommendation for Canvas Prints? I would like to do one for a family member who lives over there. It makes more sense to get it printed locally than to do it in the US and ship it.
I looked at Simply Canvas and liked the fact that they do larger pano sizes. I applied - did not know they have to "approve" you.
From talking to their CEO last week he said you either need a TaxID or a website to get 'approval'
If you don't have a taxID enter all 0's and point them at your web site and it shouldn't be a problem. They just don't want to currently deal with the public at large.
Thanks for the recommendations. Aside from Photoartistry, the rest are all US based and don't ship to the UK.
I ended up using LucyArt.co.uk. They seem to offer exactly what I was looking for. I'll let you know what the quality is like when I see it in a few weeks.

They use to only be available to artists looking for Giclee prints on canvas but now they offer more and have restructured to focus toward photographers as well. I started using them after several different photographers at some bridal shows mentioned them.
