I hope you guys don't mind too much that I'm sort of over the top with cars. They were my life for the better part of 40 years......the drag pics reminded me of another couple of challenge entries I've had.

The Galaxie was a Free Study that got slapped about a bit, and the Camaro was one of the three images I used in a Tryptych challenge.
The Galaxie is an immaculate '63 that is a complete crowd-pleaser as it's one you can always count on for a wheelie. If you know anything about cars in general, and drag cars in particular, you can imagine how brutally powerful this thing is to yank a 5000 pound car's front end off the ground.
The yellow Camaro is another crowd pleaser. Not only is it blindingly fast......tube chassis and a HUGE rat motor under the fibreglass nose.....but the cute, 95 pound, 17 year old blonde that is in it for this pass, is *WAY* faster than her brother or dad who own and built the car. That's just sooooooo right in such a male dominated endeavor! LOL!!!
NASCAR conducted the first tests of a new car/chassis design for the Nationwide Series at Richmond Int'l Raceway. All four manufacturers were represented at the test. This particular car is a Dodge Challenger which was built by Ganassi Racing.
