...make the photo the last step... in other words use the artistic ability that you know you have - to create. Step outside what you are familiar with. go to the hobby/craft store, look for items that are outside of your comfort zone. Create art with a medium that has intrigued you before but that you have never ventured into. make a sculpture, a flower arrangement, a painting, do some woodwork or just write a poem... whatever... do something artistic that does not involve a camera! This gives you the option to get that valuable brain working! When you create something that you are proud of (or not), something that has pushed your boundries a bit, then record it. What better way to document your new found awesomeness than to photograph it? If you dont photograph it i'll bet your creative brain will, at the very least, feel a little bit more active, and who knows where that will lead!
