I'm hoping to get the score just a little higher lol. I want this one to be in my top three. I think it's my second best challenge shot. =D I loved this challenge. I felt inspired.
That is the sort of thing that keeps us addicted to DPC - it may not happen that often that I feel like this, but when it does it keeps you an a high for ages! Fingers crossed for you that it keeps climbing - and looking forward to seeing which is yours.

I actually for the first time could care less about my score. I really like my image! You know in a few days which one was mine! I'm starting to try to develop a "style" in my post processing
Do you get extra points for that? The more it falls, the more you met the challenge, but then your score would go higher and you'd fail to meet the challenge. Eventually, everyone would have a 5.5. ;-P

It is the attack of what I call the FIVERS - the scores are being '5'ed to death. I have calculated that the last handful of votes I have received are 5's.

Do people really think they can be trolls and then cover it up by leaving a nice comment? I just had a very nice comment left on my photo, and the vote they gave was a 3!
Yet another reason I think they should ban folks from voting on challenges they are entered in. I realize that votes are hard to come by, but there are lots of people who obviously go around voting the other entries down to try and make theirs place better. Since there are more than on person doing it, the net effect is that it does not really help the person trying to do so, but the over all scores in the challenge are lowered which is frustrating.

You will soon come to accept and embrace the fact that you cannot expect to learn and grow from this site from the votes you get. Give it up. Take good feedback and bad feedback you get and use it to help you become a better photographer and then eventually you will be able to stop caring what most people thing and just express your art.
