- Pez are made by two independant companies, Pez USA and Pez Austria. They have different slightly different dispensers based on cartoons, movies, and comic books available in each location. www.pez.com is not a bad place to start to found out more info. They are distrubuted to Australia

And to answer a question repeated several times on other photos... My wife is the actual Pez collector and has been collecting them for around 15 years. Every room in our house is covered with them. I could easily stretch this challenge to 365 days without running out of Pez. Some of the popular characters, Mickey Mouse for instance, have 7-8 different styles where the Pez as been updated over time or had other editions put out wearing a hat or different facial expressions. I'll put some "entire collection" type photos up at the end of the month. Pez has gone more mainstream in recent years. In the old days only a classic cartoon or movie would rate a Pez. The Star Wars Pez for instance came out 20 years after the movie was made. Now the Pez for movies come out as part of the promotion of the movie, kind of like the toys at MacDonalds. There was also a rule that no real people get made into Pez, but now they have Elvis, the Orange County Chopper guys, and others. It is a fun hobby for her and I have gotten involved enough to know what to buy her for various birthdays, anniversay, and Christmas presents.
I know Sherpet did a similar one with her toothbrush earlier in the month, but I actually had been planning the same idea with my shoehorn, so I went ahead and did it in spite of the similar theme.
