Our return has been put back until at least the 17th for departure as there has been a delay in receiving goods to finish the restorartion, well done to all the free study high rollers.

ok, so Soft Focus. Besides the fact that it makes little sense to have a challenge that has a criteria that can be accomplished through post processing..... how much of the photo do you think needs to be "soft" for it to be considered meeting the criteria do you think?

Just a quick check in to say Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely mothers here! I'm spending the day in the ER with my daughter who developed an infection and swelled her throat up to about the size of an orange (coming out of the side of her neck). She's currently getting IV morphine & antibiotics. I just stopped home to take my own meds & get changed (pretty much went in my pj's, lol). She's going to be fun to take home on that stuff.

Kelli, best of luck. I'm about to go visit a friend in the hospital too. As long as I get to visit someone else and don't have to stay ... its a good one!

My Story shot sucks royally! It's a found shot, and I was limited as to where I could shoot from. Oh well. My shot for ABC should be solid 5 material though.
Been busy with work, painting, bashing baseboards back into place, amongst other things...

Thanks for all the good wishes all! They decided to keep my daughter for overnight IV antibiotics. She has an abscess, though they said the tooth itself didn't look bad, they did cat scan and x rays. The infection itself seems to have made it's home in soft tissue under the jaw, it just looks like her neck. But 9 hours in the ER, geez!
lol you are mean, taking her pic in the hospital. I understand about the age thing. I always talk about my "baby" and people always say "awww, how old?" and then I tell them he is 5 :D. I'll still be calling him my baby when he's 30 lol.
Anyway, I hope your daughter has a restful night in the hospital and comes home feeling much better tomorrow!
