I think what amazes us here right now three things.
1-he is only 18 (I wish I had that kind of future)
2-he is one of us
3-we all want to be good as him, even in older ages, but we think that's a long shot for most.
I think I just also described Tiger Woods... Michael Jordan... Bill Gates... Steve Jobs... and other young successes.
Jealousy? hardly.. envy? most likely... but I say one thing to those who thinks Joey kind of success far away, photography does not recognize age... it recognizes imagination ;)
I knew him back when... but I still expect him to let me be his Kato Kaelin after he gets his mansion in Beverly Hills. Everybody needs a useless slob to hang out at their pool.
That interview by MTV is pretty cool. Now, Joey is young, successful and lets face it, not many people could name a lot of `celebrity photographers`, he is EXACTLY the sort of person who could become a household name, especially amongst the younger generation, as a celeb-photographer isnt really an avenue fully exploited yet.
I reckon he could well become a big star, not just in photographic circles, but his name recognised by the general public.
How many celebrity photogs are there and how many can you name???
