Germaine, you are more than welcome to join us! I'll try to put something together for the first week's assignment and post. Anyone who wants to join in can, but I'll probably try to limit the number of people per group to keep it manageable.
I'm here, and I'll try to play along, though I fear life may really, really get in the way (it's been doing that lately). Some of what is getting in the way is good (look for a special pic from me around the 27th), but some is just life stress. No worries, nothing compared to what many of you are going or have gone through, but it still needs to be dealt with, doesn't it? (if anyone has a reasonable way to answer that question "no" please pass it along :P ).
I was coming in to congratulate Kelli on her POTD. So first, congrats, Kelli!
And then I saw Rob's post. :) Team Suckers have been eating up that contest; I think we've collectively won 1st place 3 of the last 4 months, Julianne took 3rd this month, and I've lost track of how many honorable mentions there've been.
I mis-read the competition rules (Jeffrey pointed this out to me): the camera that I thought was the prize for the best shot of the year is actually the prize for the winner of May's competition: "Urban Wildlife."

But Jeffrey's right, the Team has been doing well in that competition (ever since he mentioned it to us right here in the TS thread; thanks again, Jeffrey!).
I'm just wandering in to say hello, I'm still mostly lurking and forcing myself to enter challenges whether I like it or not. I've entered something in "Sun in the frame" that has multiple glaring faults that the voters won't miss but true to form I really like it, it's the first shot I've taken for awhile that I like at all so that's encouraging for me.
My apologies for not being more involved, I've not been very good company lately but things will improve.
To catch up, Congratulations to all the team suckers deserving of congrats...oh wait...on a good day that's all of you for some reaon or other. Congrats all!
I put off grading finals to get one in for story. That should guarantee me last place in this challenge :D. Now I get to stay up late and finish grading AND watch my photo get slaughtered. Whoo hoo!
