Actually, slight modification: I'll do "Portraits and Stories" where "Stories" are pictures that tell or imply a story, such as this weeks main challenge.
Count me in. I'll go with "Out of my Comfort Zone", meaning I'll shoot & process things that are different for me. I will try to put an emphasis on portraits and candid photography.
I'm probably going to regret this but I want to go looking for interesting & strange effects caused by merging the subject w/the BG. Like a tree seeming to grow out of someone's head, or only part of a subject showing from behind the BG. I want to increase dynamic range so as to enhance the effect of nothing being the BG, everything in the FG, to put the BG, FG, & subject in the same plane. I'm gonna do it anyway, & this challenge looks like a fine place to post the results, assuming I get any. I'm calling it Subjective Abstract Photorealism--SAP shots. Happy Shootin' everyone!
I can't believe I am thinking of doing this again. I have been having so much fun with the April Creative Choice challenges that I too don't want to stop. I will have to think of a theme and let you know later what it is. COUNT ME IN.

Thanks for the heads up Lisa :) Not sure how often I'll be able to participate, but when I do, I think I'd like to mess around with some overlays. Maybe revive/rehash some oldies when I can't shoot something new.
I think I'll give it another go too...my theme will be "Faces of HOPE," and I'll be posting portraits (usually candid) of the kiddos enrolled in my program, which is called Project HOPE. HOPE stands for High on Parenting Education. :)

Actually, it will just be the heads.....this is a spin off from my latest Odd II entry.
The image was a big hit with my students and they thought it would be fun to create a whole series with them. Woooohoooooo!! I'm ready to get started!
I am supposed to get my camera back the fist week of May, I will be happy to join in once it comes back. Put me in as a "as soon as the camera comes back".....
