Not sure how much I like monkeys... I went to a village full of them in Thailand (they were originally fed by some buddhist monks, then sort of became renegades and started living on roofs and lampposts). And while I was busy going: "Awww, look at those cute baby monkeys", one of them jumped onto my back and started trying to open my rucksack!!! You actually get serious warnings in the town to watch out for monkeys trying to pickpocket you, they're very good at it (more interested in your stash of food, but your passport and wallet might go missing by accident too). Not sure I'm all that keen on them - elephants are much cooler :p
Thought I'd share my news with the Team Suck family ... just got back from weight watchers and TA DAAAAAA .. I passed the 25 lb.. mark in weight loss. It seems like it took forever to go from 20 to 25, but when I finally did it I'm nearly at 26!
Good feeling.
Rob, not making a big deal hence the ; p but I was not in the results thread in centered composition, I figured it was a minor glitch.
The Butterflies average should be 5.93.
With alans_world now properly added to the scripts, my results agree with quiet_observation. I'll go shut my fingers in a door or something for punishment.

Sorry, no one is allowed to hurt the meyers. Not even the meyers. Apparently, the guy is well connected...

At least this isn't the "No Meyers" club (where Meyer would still be allowed to join).
Quick question...if the SC gives you a proof request, as they did for my Body partsII shot, you submit original file and then hear nothing back...is that a good thing? The only other time I had a pr was for Octopussy which got dq'd.

Last time I did this when I didn't get a DQ, my photo page got a "This picture has been validated" or some such messages below it. I didn't get a separate message from the SC.
Oh right, wasn't thinking. Better go see if it's been validated, no reason why not, I coloured within the lines. Wonder who squealed? Or does SC randomly choose pics for validation?
I have previously been told by the SC that they do not always mark a photo as "validated" below it. (I am talking about during a challenge, putting a "validated" marker below a photo so that voters can see it has been validated)
In my past cases, I received an email telling me my photo had been validated.
For those interested, I went to Kassel, Germany this past Saturday. Probably not the most historic nor picturesque town in Germany but it was a nice day trip just the same. A bit more info is provided with the pictures.

Well, still no sign of a dq or validation via email or on the site...*shrugs* won't worry about it.
