this will probably be my 3rd dq in as many weeks (one was a self dq before someone could ping me on it). I don't know what I did wrong with this one, but I'm sure it's something. no more basic editing for me....or maybe I just need a break and submit only straight from camera shots.
I, seriously, don't know what I'm doing when I post process. Everything is trial and error and can never replicate it again b/c I'm all over the place. Reading the rules and understanding them are apparently 2 different things. I don't really even know the difference between levels, curves, histogram adjustment. I'm beginning to hate this hobby.

Put it like this... if it doesn't apply whatever you are doing in processing the ENTIRE image then it's illegal in basic. No matter what you do you can not do ANY selevtive editing whatso ever in basic.
I guess all the yacking over in the other thread is stopping people from showing their scores....also I do believe all this indecision...has affected my score...
its funny how so many people on this site THINK! that they are the $h*t at photography just because of the score and have nothing but harsh words to share with others rather then helping someone get better. For all those people that take the time and help others thank you and for the others get a freaking life.
Oh and btw i am currently only getting a 4.7 :( apparently my shot is a bit overexposed. oh well next time i will do better :)

Update again...as my picture continues to drop...from a 6.4 at 188 votes....232 votes,
averaging a 4.4285 in the last 7 votes..including a 1 and a 2...seems we have a Love/Hate relationship...lol
