I think it'll end up 8 in total... have written 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 - just need to make a few final edits on 6 and 7, then move onto 4. The last one, 8, should be a summary chapter so nothing heavy and relatively easy. If things go okay I hope I can get this done in a month or so...
well - i have got a consistent 5.9ish in the past two... doesnt look like that will happen with this one - too "neat" was a comment i got... but it is sat at 5.2 at the moment - so we shall see.
You seem to handle it right, cooperate and then they let you go about your business. But what else are you going to do, argue, and you'd just get arrested I'm sure.

Thanks Limbo - I have that PDF printed out and now in my camera bag, next to my stop and search docs ready for the next time it happens. I've not been out since that fiasco outside Big Ben last week though.
I have bought two high viz vests though (3 quid each at my local army surplus!) - am writing "NOT A TERRORIST" on the back in big black lettering to make a point on my next excursion (and 'GET OFF THE PHONE' on the other :))
