Edit to say: I am really behind in commenting. Probably catch up on Friday. Dropped the self portrait challenge, just not as interesting (or photographically stimulating) as the overlays.

Can anyone tell me (I seem to not know) what is the difference between a LAYER and an OVERLAY.
I'm beginning to worry that I'm missing the point completely. Help! Before I embarrass myself. |
