My birthday and Valentine's day are close enough together that my wife usually combines the 2 for presents. This year, my lovely wife got me an 85mm f/1.8 USM, 580 EX II, Lens hood for the 85 and the RC1 wireless remote....tripod will be here later today, a Slik U9000. I just got the camera in December and I'm well on my way to getting all the goodies for it!
i hope you have better luck with that rc-1 than i did ... the working range for the one i have is about 12 inches and it has to be directly in front of the camera

just put in the paper work for the D3 yesterday

waiting on the "trinity" of lenses for next year ;) (one mihgt argue i don't need more

Well, I did have to pay for my stuff, but she let me.
Dont forget the beatings you got afterwards, those bruises were horrid man.. but it's worth it to have all that nice gear.. My wife just holds her hand out for the cash and says "don't even think about it"
