I will be SF visiting from the UK for 2.5 days and wonder if anyone fancies hooking up for some general shooting in the Bay Area.
I have never been in the area before so am looking to explore some of the sights and shoot shoot shoot.
I arrive Thursday afternoon (probably rather jetlagged) and am available all day Friday 11th and until about 5pm on the Saturday 12th (when I have to leave to meet up with some colleagues at the airport who are flying in, before we head off to Yosemite)
Welcome to SF. We've been having a ton of rain here the last several days, but hopefully it will clear up by this weekend. I'm not sure if I can break away from work Friday to join you for a shoot, but an early morning shoot on Saturday might be possible, depending on the weather. I assume you're looking for some bridge shots, but other than that anything specific you're after?

I have never been to San Francisco before, so all will be new to me
Bridge shots, Cable Cars, Fisherman's Wharf,
Pier 39 all things I would like to cram in over my brief stay.
Not sure all is achievable in the Saturday :)
but I will be doing some on the Friday before.
I will be staying at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway.
but not sure if that is a good meeting up point..
Checked with the boss and forgot that we have a mid-day party to go to on Saturday, so looks like I'm out for that shoot. Sorry. If I can get enough done at work I may be able to bug out Friday afternoon and meet up then, but that's 50-50 at best. I'll let you know by Wednesday if I can make that happen.
In the meantime, lots of other SF folks around, maybe someone else can step up and show Artan around. Good news is weather forecast is clear for the weekend, cloudy and a seasonal 55-65 degrees with only a small chance of rain.
