If you are talking about the Swiffer Wet Jet...we have that too...LOL.

However, their spray is somewhat sticky and our floors got dirty really quick. We started buying concentrated Armstrong Floor Cleaner. We mix it in a spray bottle and use that. It is SO much cheaper than using the wet-jet fluid and our floors stay cleaner a lot longer.

I use this:

I don't have to worry about sweeping up food crumbs in advance either - he takes care of that while I mop. I got the idea from the Flintstones, so I know it's environment-friendly cuz we all know cavemen were carbon neutral.

The crumb picker-upperer attachment is looking a tad grimy. Must be about time for a trip in the washing machine!

I use my swiffer all the time, I love it! You can use one of those micro-cloths. Either cut it, or sew it to fit. Then you can wash and re-use saving money and preventing waste.

If you are still looking for something to clean tile or hardwood floors......look at O'Cedar mop. you can wash the covers and reuse many, many times. I use a solution of water a dash of Dawn in a squirt bottle to clean. Works best if you don't use fabric softener on the mop covers. It doesn't leave any residue on the floors.
