I didn't think this could get worse, but now it's my 2nd lowest FS and my 6th lowest ever...
My score must be attached to yours. Its been a while since I have had an update page with three 5+ scores running. Can't wait for at least one to end. Hoping my next entry will get me back into the 6s.
You do know we're virtual twins, Tim. My frontpage is showing 3 5ish scores, too (here's hoping to end with 6.0 in "Complementary", though)
Jeb, dear, if they are, indeed, engaging in that activity, they are probably not simultaneously voting, although perhaps they don't enjoy the activity, and thus the low votes are a reflection of their disappointment in ... things other than the lovely image I'm sure you created.

Ugh! this was my first entry with my new camera and I was so pleased with it (mostly because my old Kodak would never have been able to produce an image like this) Oh Well!
Each and every free study, we have to do (watch) the damage recovery. Now, this with public voting. Good thing about selected jury voting would be that votes usually very consistent from top to bottom.
What makes me angry is watching the "Damage recovery". From what damage? I tell you what damage... damages caused by people don't even know what photography is, but acting like million dollar photographers... people who gets angry to their own scores and start slashing others votes, eyes closed... people simply can't vote but still do.
I stopped voting because my personal feelings were getting on my way sometimes and I didn't want to be unfair... I admit, I can't vote good because I am not good enough... you should admit and not vote if you think you can't either.
and I don't want to hear "Oh, you only say this because you get low scoring, but would you say the same thing if you'd get high scoring?" YES... my words to everyone who can't vote either way. I neither want to see my photo high above and dropping down over the week nor want to see starting very low and eating my nails while it's going up slowly. But only one ignites anger like mine, unfair low scoring (hey genius, I said "unfair low voting", I didn't say my picture worth better. So read it first before attacking me again).
SCs, I know those "few" people won't make any difference in overall voting of any photos, but it would be very cool if I hear some more announcements that some of us doing something wrong, and you are on top of the situation like scalvert did last night. I felt much better and actually was able to go to sleep.

I'm REALLY hoping to break 6 with this one, so hopefully the next 150 or so voters will appreciate my artistic talent to the degree it deserves! Or if that doesn't work, I hope the next 150 or so voters are at least sober... :)
It's been ages since I entered a challenge. I sort of forgot about the update addiction. It's all coming back to me now, though!
Well, up almost a point overnight... it seems that some order has been restored! I wont usually complain about a 6 but I am rather disappointed with this score.
All you usual high-scorers hovering in the 5s: congrats! You know how to score high at DPC, but you must've branched out this time and tried something different. Growth is good, regardless of scores.
As for me, I doubled my votes overnight and actually went up. This is in serious danger of being one of my best scores.
