...mmm...as I read the other posts, I am slipping also. We are a tough crowd!!! I started out at almost 5.000 :( but can't even stay above that level...but it is early yet... :))

Maybe this should have been asked before submission, but does being in a crowded situation, which is what the challenge states, mean that the thing that is alone has to be in a crowd? My wife entered this challenge and is getting low scores and from the comments some of it seems to be because they think that her "alone" thing isn't in the crowd, but it is clearly in a crowded situation. I guess there will always be somebody that will find a way to say your photo doesn't meet the challenge.

Always my personal dilemma. I am always creating photos and THEN finding there is a challenge for this photo to be 'shoe-horned into'("so they say"!). I find that if I allow my creativity to 'run free' and then see if there is a challenge out there, I always wonder if I will receive a DNMC reply unfairly. There are as many opinions and interpretations (some due to language barriers too) of most challenge titles as there are entries. Personally, I feel this is a more effective way to create; but as with any new challenge I also have a mental image of my entry...and try to match the requirements. Seems to generally give me the same scores either way i go...
Anyone agree/disagree???
I have been having more success and more fun since I gave up:
A. Trying to figure out what is "DPC Friendly".
B. Shooting for anyone other than my own whimsical amusement.
Well today has certainly been fun. Started at 5.9. I have three DNMC comments, which leaves me scratching my head. AND a validation request, which means I've successfully baffled somebody! :)

Finally, a couple comments telling me where I went wrong, I was wondering!!!The pic isn't anything spectacular, so I'm not really surprised.......need to get back in the swing of things. :)

Hectic: it's settled now, and many comments - but they are really VICIOUS - well they just feel that way to me. Really expected a 6 score on this at least: hmmm.

As long as you don't have any death or injury in your picture you should be ok ;)
