Don't see any issues with that Gilles other than if we are deemed to cause a disturbance? (not sure if you need to notify peeps?). I'm thinking it would most likely take us a few hours to walk from the Tate to the Eye (especially as we walk through the 'statues').
I don't really understand what you mean by that Andi. Is it that a bunch of people together would disturb others because they're taking photographs?
Hi Gilles, I think what Andi is saying is some places in London can be quite strict on where and what people can photograph. For example, we had a lot of trouble at Canary Wharf awhile back.
As we don't have any plans to be near anywhere with 'major security' I am sure we won't have any problems :o) Hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to drop me a PM :o)

Between the London Eye and Charing Cross bridge there are a lot of those people who paint themselves silly colours, stand on a box and pretend to be a statue...until they want to scare a passerby!

I'd LOVE to meet you guys but most December weekends are booked up to visit non-local family for Christmas meals/ present exchanges.
The only weekend I could attend is 15/ 16th December but since it's not 100% please don't let my availability impact on date selection (not that you would, but just saying).
If I can be there, I certainly will. It would be a pleasure to meet you and Andy in person.

Such a shame we'll miss you Kavita! Now I'm a little closer to London again I am sure Andi and I will have a few trips into the city in the future, hopefully we'll be able to meet you sometime in 2008! :o)
Mark (simms) mentioned a trip on the eye, anybody else up for it? Bonus is last time Talj and I went on it we got to jump the queue (though not saying its a good reason to be in a chair/on sticks) and, they actually stopped it whilst we got on!

Did check their website incase 'we' took a trip ourselves and yes, you'd get to jump the queue again Andi ;o) Something that will really make you smile....you'd even get to go free!
