Sam arrived in my hometown, Hamilton yesterday!

He started his day today by reading our local morning paper.

After reading about a couple of issues, he decided to go and vote with me today...so off we went. At the poll location he spotted George Bush, who signed the "No Child Left Behind" education bill at our high school.

He spoke at length with George about a similar idea Sam had for his friends...

Then, we went sightseeing a bit. Our town is know as the "City of Sculpture" so I took him to see one of my favorites and he decided it looked like fun.

When he found out we had a river, he was pretty demanding to go and see it (as I suppose most ducks would.) For this part of the trip, we took along a friend. My daughter has a dalmation collection and someone gave her this duck to add to it. Our hometown duck showed Sam the river and city view.

It is VERY cold and windy here today, so we came back home and Sam wanted to head out someplace else. He'll be in the mail to his new destination tomorrow!

Wow, Judy! Great job! I'm looking forward to Sam's visit. Please send only the duck...you can keep the weather, please.

Nice pictures. I left some comments. At least Sam is getting around. Wonder what he's going to do with all his frequent flier miles?
Thanks....by the way, Sam may not get to his next destination for just a few more days. Remember I said it was cold and blustery the day of the photos? I was dumb because I wasn't feeling all that good, but I went out anyway. Now I have bronchitis and feeling lousy. I have a Dr. appointment this morning so hopefully will be feeling better soon. Bleh.

KaDi...I'll sanitize Sam before I send him on :)
Take care of yourself and rest up! I hope you heal quickly!
We'll be here whenever Sam arrives.
Mama duck and the little one's know how to make an infected duck feel better...
Seymours blog has been updated. Unfortunately all the entries from Arizona are totally backwards, I can not figure out how to get them in the proper order. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't matter to me as long as it is there. Thank you for updating it. I will look at it later and check into fixing it if needed.
One photo of Seymour that failed to make it into the blog was this one taken at the famous Museum Club along historic Route 66 in Flagstaff. this club was once upon a time a taxidermy shop. seymour is underage and did not get to go inside...
I received a box in the mail *mumble* months ago with ducks in it. No note, no clue about the thread. Nothing. Okaayyy... I figured out the deal, but I was swamped with work. I was going on vacation in Orlando for a week and didn't want to delay it any longer, so an anonymous Site Council member from Rhode Island (I'm not saying who) suggested that I send the guys to her. She would take pictures while I'm in Florida and return them when I get back. Great plan, right? That was over a month ago. :-/
Yesterday, I had the good fortune to meet up with that person (I'm not saying who), and she had the foresight to bring them with her. Yay! So, finally, after a looooong road trip, the band played Mystic, CT to an enthusiastic audience of DPCers. Squeak on, little dudes!
