WOW you definately got carried away, and I am so pleased you did, as you have collected some amazing textures here Darlene. Way to go girl..... I am very impressed, but don't forget, we still have 28 Day to go after today..... Back later to comment of some of them.....
Oh please....you do not have to comment on that batch of freebies! It was just a fun thing I did. I'm hoping some can use them! I'm happy to announce goodman chose one! :)
It would take far too long to comment on those, but you are sweet to offer Shez!!
I find it interesting that most folks seem to be aiming for "textures" that are destined for use as a part composite imaging, overlaying. I'm going in a different direction, looking for THINGS that make distinctive images in their own right and are highly textural visually:
Day One
R.
ETA: maybe not "most" people, just what I noticed the most at first glance :-)
Thats my main objective as well Robert, but will have an overlay folder available for overlay textures as well, as a secondary thing.

I have enjoyed commenting on all or most of the images, but have made a executive decision.....
Could we please limit the Daily Supply of textured images to FIVE, or LESS please, as it will be so much easier to comment, and enjoy the process.
Also they take up a lot of room. No need to remove any of them, as I would be disappointed if you did that.
I hope you don't mind.
love shez
I back this up too, there's alot of batch textures coming lol I CAN'T KEEP UP, som wonderful stuff tho it has to be said =) I'm enjoying this side challenge.
I'm still gonna play - but am out of town (woohooo! Chicago again!!) until late Sunday night. I will post 1-5 Monday evening. Lots of wonderful textures in the windy city!
Very good call Sherryl and I totally support it. I feel terrible for posting all those bark photos...I should have just posted a link to them. I didn't mean for anyone to have to comment on them. Please accept my apologies.
Oh and you asked how I remembered which trees the bark went to...I just took pictures of trees that I see frequently and could recognize them by the bark. I'll have to take a wide angle of the tree before the close up bark on any that aren't common to me in the future. I know the bark pictures are boring to look at, but I really enjoy the texture of trees. I love doing "rubbings" on trees with charcoal or crayon...I know...weird!
