Yeah I saw this on another forum yesterday and it still hasn't changed. I'm primarily CW, I CAN get it to go CCW but it takes a couple minutes and some real effort on my part lol.

But i'm righthanded, and I can't get it to change. My husband/daughter just looked at it, and they tell me they can get it to go back and forth. I'm stuck :)
This video is rigged. It goes both ways after some interval. To prove it,
look at the breast. at first the breast disappears as she moves clockwise
after some time: the breast appears instead of disappearing as she moves anti-clockwise.
so its not your brain. they made the animation that way.
edit: I should say, disappears and appears on the left side of the image. I guess it would also be the same on the right side of the image, but it has to be one side you are looking at.
Always clockwise for me when i first look at it... but i can get it change direction by concentrating on the shawdow... can't get it to change by looking at the silhouette.
I love stuff like this... its like that one where you are asked which square is darker shade of gray when they are all the exact same shade (link)
So fascinating to see how simple the brain can be fooled against what appears to be a no brainer :P

I can change her at will. Truthfully though, all I notice is that she looks cold...
not quite at will, but if I keep her in peripheral vision, only allowing my mind to barely see her foot, then I can eventually get her to switch. then stare directly at her head and switch back.

Exactly the same for me. My stomach lurches at the point of change!
I just need to take my eyes off the screen for a second and I can have her spining in different directions.....looks like she's dancing especialy when you do it really quickly!

I can't get her to change at all...She's perpetually spinning clockwise for me. I don't think her as looking cold, but sometimes I think she's going to fall over. LMAO.
Nothing I do can make her spin counterclockwise. None of the tips suggested, nothing I thought of myself. Not even a twitch, a hesitation, a jiggle, nothing. I swear, this is a joke and I'm the only one not in on it; you're all trying to drive me insane(r)!!
my girlfriend has seen her going counter-clockwise and clockwise. I've been staring at it forever, and have probably lost a good deal of my vision, but I cannot see anything that I can possibly understand as counter-clockwise. She's infinitely spinning clockwise. Damn brain. I suppose that partial lobotomy probably explains something...
Definitely clockwise for me. I can force anticlockwise, but I have to visualise her moving the other way first, and sneakily catch the animation when it matches my anti-clockwise mental model. The two together is freaky. I had to work pretty hard to get alternating directions, but it was cool.
As for the photo, the focus is crisp, posing is good, the background is dull, but most importantly, I'd prefer to see this well lit by good soft light from the front. :)
