Hope you guys don't mind my late entry into this side challenge - I'm also doing the October Light Side challenge and think these two will work well together for me.
For processing I'm LOVING the Optiverve filters right now - I try them all out and then often layer them one over the other at low % opacities - I like the surpises I find.
Also in this image I processed using the Retro Action - which is a personal favourite.
Hosting my stuff over on Smugmug Again... Expect some really bizarre/fun stuff from me as this is our chance to get giggy with it. No overhead no DNMC whiners... If I do crazy editing it will post what it did along with the pics in this thread.

hey andy .. the thumbs, especially the top one looked excellent .. loved the perspective & i love wide angle ... it was taking too long to load smugmug ... a minute is too long for me to wait .. i'm an impatient buggar ...
a totally innocent question .. why dont you just download them into your dpc portfolio so we can see them easily ??.. it mightnt be a problem for other ppl opening smugmug tho & i'm just asking .. :):):) .. and smile !! .. just in case you thought i was being rude .. which i'm not .. :):)
Just moved into my new office - hubby hasn't seen it yet and wanted me to take a pic so perfect opportunity - two birds with one stone - hubby sees my new view and I get my Day 1 Slice of Life shot!
I hope y'all don't mind -- but since I get up sooooooo early, and sometimes have to hit the ground running the minute I get to work, I am going to have to post my pictures before I go to bed at night.
I'm going to have so much fun getting out of my conservative editing practices and trying different filtering treatments -- and anything I can learn and play with over the next month.

Gotta go back out to work now, back later to comment. Housie on a Tuesday night (fundraising for SPCA), since I'm the organiser I spose I'd better go. It's wet, windy and yucky out there.
I didn't get out to take any pictures today and rather than just shoot some junk at home, like my wracking my brain to come up with a Technology challenge shot, I'll submit something from last Saturday at Sea World. I was actually trying to get pictures of Shamu half out of the water for the Half challenge, but they weren't that great.
