 This old chair belonged to my grandfather. It was build especially for him and is approximately 100 years old. The white bowl, canning jar and white cloth on the chair belonged to my grandmother. The rock house background is the house I grew up in, the same house that has the lantern on it pictured here a few days ago.

the eye is what I like about the shot. it looks like the sun is almost shining through it. |

18-Sep-2007 Another shot from Johnny Appleseed Festival. They were cooking cornbread in iron skillets, by putting hot coals on the lids. This is a shot of the fire they were using to make the coals - said it reached like 1300 degrees F. I was about 6 feet away, and it was plenty hot where I was standing.
