Seymour will be leaving Alabama tomorrow. I had been trying to take him to a shoot, but had given up. I got lucky today and ended up shooting with Seymour and the lovely Jamie. Check him out :-)
Speed Racer arrived here... and took his time zipping off...
He decided that he needed to visit Frankenmuth.. hearing that there were duckies there...
He had to wait his turn for the covered bridge...thankfully in the shade
after getting his turn through the bridge...
He got lost...
after asking directions... he was back on the road
Last I saw him he was on his way to Flushing, Michigan to see if Duckies were there...and to get his photo taken before heading off to some weird place called Lansing, Michigan to go to the Bluesfect and then off on the next leg of his trip
(Speedy is traveling from hand to hand...hopefully so that DPCers get to meet each other)

Well, Seymour is on his way to Louisiana! Thank goodness. I think he has some anti lucky duck mojo. while showing him around town I got into a car accident. my first ever. :( but everyone's ok. it was minor. my fault and will raise my ins. premiums but minor. I haven't processed his Mississippi tourist shot yet but here are a few just fun ones.
First he went to the Jackson street gallery:
Where he met a cute artist chick:
They had a small water front wedding on the natchez trace:
and Seymour being the stud that he is had a few ducklings with the missus:
All that in one day. We had some good times together. not the talking to cops out in the crazy heat with a sick 5 year old clawing at me to be picked up and exchanging insurance info times but the rest were good. I'll miss you Seymour.... :*(
Finally, so today I was able to show Sam around. Now technically, he's physically in Oregon in these photos, but the backgrounds in all the pictures are Washington so it's really a two-for-one deal. :)
Anyhoo, here we go:
Here he is in front of the Lewis & Clark bridge. One side is Oregon and the other Washington. Sam's on the Oregon side, Rainier to be exact.
And here he was catching some rays. Lovely weather we were having today. In the last photo there, my son decided he needed a new hat. Who was I to stop him? :)
Making sure things look Honkey-Dorey at the mill across the river. The irony that Sam was made in China.... check out the rear.
Then he did a little babysitting for me...
but the kids started getting cranky and demanding food and drink and stuff so we had to cut the trip short. So off we went.
Bye Bye Sam! It was a pleasure having you. Safe travels and have fun in Minnesota. :)
I arrived in South Louisiana just in time to see the sun peep through the clouds as Hurricane Humberto moved out of the area! It is perfectly duckie weather for me! Puddles EVERYWHERE! I arrived to find Julie with camera in hand, standing in puddles attemping to get photos after the rain. She was only slightly distracted by the passing ladybug! I can't wait to get out to the swamp, see some gators and eat some boiled crawfish! Pass the Tobasco Sauce! Laissez les bons temps roulez cher! Aiyeeee!
If any of Seymours friends are out and would like to visit New Hampshire, we would love to have them up here. Just PM me and I will send you the info....
